        - Poster Progress

Progress #1: Taking my own photography

Took a photo of my friend's hand to replace the hand image in my digital sketch. Lighting is casted from the right upper side to create natural shadows on the inner side of the hand, adding depth and dimension to the image. Then, I added the image into my poster and colour corrected it to blend the image together with other images.

        4.0 REFLECTION

For Week 8, I mainly focused on completing my poster design. I really enjoyed the process of taking my own photography and incorporating it into my poster as it becomes more personal and customised. I implemented the technique we used in Week 4 such as select and mask, layer mask, and clipping mask for the Hearst Mansion Exercise to blend in the photography I took with the other elements in the poster seamlessly. By utilising a few features such as brightness, contrast, saturation, and curves, I colour corrected the photography I took to match with the colours of the poster. Overall, I enjoyed the process of designing this poster.
