Colour Correction Process
I edited the video in Adobe Premiere Pro. The goal was to enhance the video's definition and maintain a similar tone throughout the whole video while preserving the original colours. I used one of the built-in LUTs: SL Clean Straight HDR that has a more natural colouring, and paired with my own custom settings.

3.0 PROJECT 2 EX 2: MOVIE TRAILER
Editing Process
For this task, we were randomly assigned into groups to carry out a production shoot based on the scenes in the movie 'Everything, Everywhere, All At Once'.
My role in the team is main director.

After the production shoot, we had to use our footage and edit them into a 30 second movie trailer. We need to apply BGM, sound effects, text/ captions, and colour correction. I imported all the raw footages and selected audio clips into Premiere Pro to start editing. I added cinematic black bars as well to make the movie trailer more realistic.

4.0 REFLECTION
The shooting process was quite rocky at first, but after some changes it went smoother as we got used to it. Props to the actors for their cooperation and good acting. Props to the D.O.P for filming the scenes cinematically as well. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the outcome of the raw footages. Moving on to the editing process, I tried something different for the movie trailer. Instead of using dramatic BGM or sound effects that creates suspense and thrill, I chose a remix version of Charli XCX's "Everything Is Romantic" as the BGM and added subtle build-up sound effects towards the end. This BGM was fitting with the bittersweet theme I was going for, as well as the emotions portrayed by the actors during the shooting. It was challenging trying to cut it down to 30 seconds sharp, but the outcome was better than I expected.
