3.0 PROJECT 2B

- Poster Design

Theme: Renewal of life - Return Contemplate, human beings' relationship with all things.
Category: Magic Lock Screen (Square & Vertical)
Title: PULSE

Summary of design concept:
The concept explores humanity's spiritual return through reconnection with nature's universal "pulse" - the fundamental rhythm connecting our heartbeat to cosmic cycles. Drawing inspiration from Michelangelo's "The Creation of Adam," it reimagines the classical creation narrative as humanity's conscious reconnection with the universal life force that flows through all existence, outside of religious context. The flora and fauna serve as messengers of nature's wisdom, representing the diverse life forms surrounding us. This moment reflects the transformative potential of reaching, recognising, and contemplating our place within this greater web of life.

4.0 REFLECTION

Project 2 was an eye-opener for me, learning how to use FX effects, gradient map, threshold, camera raw filter, and clipping mask to tie everything together to produce a high-quality poster. By applying these effects on the poster, it significantly enhances the colours and depth of the poster, and helps to make the subject stand out more. The poster looks more "alive" rather than looking flat thanks to the various effects I've applied.
